Susanne has been a passionate sommelier for many years. Hence the decision to add the W of "wining" to our B&B Zeeuws Gelukkig. Something that will make your stay and experience at our B&B complete(ly) unique!
Onze nieuwe en luxe boutique B&B is gelegen in Serooskerke op Schouwen Duiveland en is van alle gemakken voorzien. Serooskerke is een klein dorp gelegen tussen Zierikzee en Burgh-Haamstede en heeft het prachtige Nationale Park De Oosterschelde met het natuurgebied De Schelphoek als “achtertuin”. De Noordzee stranden liggen slechts op 4 kilometer afstand!
Location
Our easily accessible B&B is located on Dorpsweg 2 in Serooskerke.
It offers a 40m2 room that accomodates 2 people (aged 21+ years). The B&B has a seperate entrance and terrace, which provide you with a sense of privacy. The B&B has been completely renovated in 2023. The kitchen is fylly equipped including a kettle, coffee machine, refrigerator, dishwasher, induction hob, oven and microwave.
Unfortunately, we have had to decide not to allow pets
Parking
There are plenty of free parking spaces in front of our accomodation as well as the oppertunity to safely store your bikes. If desired, we rent out e-bikes for €15,00 a day.
Via de zijtuin met als “eyecatcher” een 20 meter hoge Sequoia, ook wel kustmammoetboom genaamd, kom je bij je eigen opgang waardoor je enorm veel privacy hebt.
The private terrace offers a panoramic view and a pellet stove to keep your warm long after sunset.
If desired, you can rent a luxury e-bike. If you want this, please let me know so that I can arrange it.
Surroundings
Schouwen Duiveland is Zeeland's northernmost peninsula, surrounded by 3 different waters: the North Sea, het Grevelingen Meer and de Oosterschelde. The perfect location for swimming, sailing, diving, sunbathing, horseback riding, cycling along the coast and walking along the beach or through the forest of Westerschouwen. Schouwen Duiveland offers something for everyone!
Apart from its friendly waters it offers a diversity of landscapes including wide-stretched polders, marshes, dunes, beaches, forests and picturesque villages.
The most popular North Sea beach stretches from Renesse to The Delta Works of Neeltje Jans, offering some great spots for swimming and diving. If you prefer tranquility, we recommend Het Grevelingenmeer en de Oosterschelde which offer plenty of smaller, more peaceful beaches.
The forest of Westerschouwen is the largest forest of Zeeland and is located on the coast of Schouwen Duiveland.
With its great biodiversity and lushness it is definitely worth a trip during your visit. You might even spot a deer or two!
Alongside nature you will find many monumental towns and villages on the island such as Zierikzee and Brouwershaven which offer plenty of opportunity for shopping and eating out.
